Well we just took delivery of a camper trailer! We chose a 2022 Winnebago Micro Minnie FLX 2108TB with the twin beds converted to a king. This one is rather high tech in the off grid / boondocking capabilities category with solar, high capacity lithium batteries, high ground clearance, etc. It is also well within the Rover's towing capacity including payload, etc. so it suits our needs perfectly. Future adventures to come and I am sure there will be some idiotic learning experiences. For a start, we got a flat tire on the way home from the dealer! More to come. Hopefully this will not be a project so much as an adventure as this camper is almost new and fully ready to roll with warranty and low usage on all of the components.
We are looking forward to learning and experiencing what the the world of RV life has to offer!
Check back in for future adventures!
After a thorough checking of all systems and learning how everything works with Vaga Ossa docked in the driveway, we decided our maiden voyage will be close to home. We will be staying 2 nights in the Chimney Rock area in late May. The purpose of this short trip close to home is to do a sort of shake down run so we can learn what we are doing right and what we are doing wrong. Stay tuned for updates! We will post an adventure page for Chimney Rock once we get back and share how the shake down went.
We are excited to open this new chapter in our lives!
